Birdermic: Shock and Terror!

A software salesman named Rod cashes in his stock options and founds his own green tech company. But wait! Birds begin attacking humanity for their devastating damage they're inflicting on the Earth! Can Rod and his friend Natalie survive the Birdemic?

This is an awful rip off of Alfred Hitchcock's "The Birds." It includes horrible dialog, mind-numbingly bad special effects, and wooden actors. It's the crowning achievement of the 3 movie James Nguyen-iverse.

It depends on the day, but for right now: About half of Washington Park was at one time an over-grown, over-populated cemetery.

Something you might not know about me is…

For over two years I had an alligator living in my basement.

Favorite ghost story/horror movie

The original Poltergeist film has always stuck with me. It's such a slow burn and by the end Craig T. Nelson is screaming "You only moved the headstones!" That line mirrors Albany and its cemeteries closer than a lot of people realize.

My flat when I lived in London was right next to a parking garage that had been built on top of a plague cemetery. I interpreted this to mean that my flat was also likely on top of a plague cemetery!

The NYS Capitol is the most expensive Capitol in the United States – more than Washington DC! To me, it was money well spent.

Something You Might Not Know About Me…

Horror movies are my favorite and I’m an absolute snob about the genre. I can get pretty pretentious about the subject. So what surprises people who know me is that it took me well into college to be able to watch a scary movie by myself. I would lose sleep for weeks. I don’t know if I’m ready to tell any of you about the 1990s video game that made me keep the lights on in my room for a month.

Favorite ghost story/horror movie

Is it cliché to say Halloween? Oh well. It’s Halloween! John Carpenter is a timeless classic for all the best reasons. It has some echoes of old gothic ghost stories but modernized the tropes for film. We still use the formula today.
