Industrialist of Albany Rural Cemetery
Join speaker Michael Barrett for a presentation in the chapel at Albany Rural Cemetery as he explores the industrialist laid to rest there.
Albany Rural is the final resting place of some of the greatest names in the American Industrial Revolution. Among others, we have iron masters whose inventions, products and procedures completely changed that industry. We have iconic bell makers whose products are installed at over 14,000 known locations around the world. There are innovators in bridge building and steam powered looms and legal publications, and the founder of the first degree-granting engineering institution in the New World.
