Learn the basics of composting and worm composting + get your own worms!

Francis Magai, an educator with the Radix center, will lead a tour of the composting systems at the center and talk about the composting programs available to city residents designed for easy participation.

Then join local gardener, Richard Daley, will deliver a short lecture on vermicomposting (composting using worms) and demonstrate how a working worm farm filled with hundreds of worms turns organic waste into an amazing soil.
