Each year Center Square Association, Historic Albany Foundation and Hudson/Park Neighborhood Association present the Hidden City House & Garden Tour in June. Usually, this tour invites the public into historic homes and gardens of the Center Square and Hudson/Park neighborhoods, however, 2021 will be a little different.
Due to the utmost concern for the health and safety of our homeowners, guests, volunteers and staff, we are creating a fun and unique day-long Stoop Stroll through Center Square and Hudson/Park, which are renowned for their distinctive stoops and facades.
Registration is not required - all those who register will receive a reminder email before the event. Pay what you wish. Day-of program pickup will be at 235 Lark St, outside Trinity Church.
Every $1 donation = 1 vote for the decorating contest (see below)
The day will feature:
- A Stoop Decorating Contest where guests can stroll through at their leisure and vote for their favorite stoops
- A variety of activities in Hudson-Jay Park including:
- A Farmer’s Market
- Live Music
- Cornell Cooperative Extension Master Gardeners providing free advice
- Artists’ Demonstrations and Sale (Including a raffle for the beautiful watercolor of Dove Street seen here by Kate McLinden)
- Fresh Flower Arrangements for Sale
- Flower Pot Contest and Raffle
