Food & History Tour of Downtown - Sold Out

Join City Historian Tony Opalka and food writer Deanna Fox on a tour of downtown Albany, learning about the history and sampling food from several restaurants (including Olde English Pub, Ama Cocina, and The Hollow) along the way. The architecture on North Pearl Street has a rich history, and downtown has a lot to offer in the Albany food scene. 

More about Deanna: Deanna Fox is a freelance writer who focuses on the historical, cultural, and political aspects of food and agriculture. She holds a masters degree in history and political science from The College of Saint Rose. More information on Deanna's work can be found at www.deannafox.org.

The location of the meeting point for the tour will be provided when you receive your confirmation email the week of the tour.
