Window Workshop

This workshop will go over window terminology and the benefits of historic windows while providing how-to demonstration for disassembling wood windows, stripping paint, reglazing, weatherstripping, and replacing sash cords. Wood windows generally remain sound well into 100 years of use, but may require general maintenance to minor repair or full
restoration. We’ll discuss and show how to address and repair all kinds of issues, enabling homeowners to save money, improve energy efficiency and allow for the retention of historic wood windows for another 100 years. Special thanks to Landmark Consulting for leading the workshop!
