Saturday, November 3, 2018 6:30-9:30PM
New York State Museum, 222 Madison Avenue
BUILT: Architecture through Artists' Eyes Art Exhibit & Silent Auction will take place on Saturday, November 3, 2018 at the New York State Museum.
A portion of the proceeds from the reception & art sales will benefit the Foundation's programming, technical services, and 48 Hudson initiative.
BUILT promotes awareness of the Capital Region’s built environment and raises funds for our preservation efforts.
For the past 17 years we've used our annual art exhibit & silent auction to highlight the issue of vacant buildings. With BUILT, we extend this artistic lens not just on vacant architecture but onto the three major cities’ BUILT environment.
To celebrate the 40th anniversary of HAF’s Parts Warehouse, we are encouraging artists to consider salvaged and recycled materials.
Participating artists receive 50% of sold art displayed at the event. The remaining 50% will benefit Historic Albany Foundation's mission of protecting & preserving Albany's built environment.
